Time stops at Grand Central Station

February 11th, 2008 ~ Pop goes the culture

Don’t you wish you could stop time sometimes? I haven’t had much blogging time because I’ve had too much junk to do (and by ‘junk’ of course I mean work, bill-paying, and other life maintenance).

So I’ll dive back into half-finished posts and see if I can’t bring them along. But in the meantime, here’s a bit of fun. What happens if you assemble 207 people together who are willing to just freeze for five minutes in whatever position they’re in, put them all in Grand Central Station, have them all freeze at the same exact moment?

It takes a lot to slow people down in New York City. Having some people frozen in time is one way to do it apparently.

See? Performance art actually can be fun. You just have to make sure it’s not done by performance artists.

I’ve often thought it would be wonderful to stop the world for extra sleep, But your idea is better.
