When I talked about the stupidest Christmas presents I saw in catalogs — back HERE — I must’ve been onto something, because that post regularly gets incoming traffic, even though I wrote it back in ought-four. Sure enough, if you Google ’stupid Christmas presents,’ this is the close to the top of the list. I’m so proud(?)
The catalogs are arriving thick and fast these days, but the Stupidest Present Contest for 2008 has already been won, I think, by this item which my sister, Lynn, turned me onto. (Make sure to watch the commercial.)
Does it count if the makers KNOW it’s a stupid Christmas present? Well, most of them know anyway. The guy selling in the video might not. He looks one egg short of a nog.

I only liked my Mom’s fruitcake. Everyone else’s is stupid (well, maybe not stupid …)
