Squirrel update
May 19th, 2005 ~ Just a slice of heavenAfter this tense showdown, it’s nice to be able to report a cessation of hostilities with Romeo. And now we know why. This morning, I saw a big squirrel scuttling over the tree followed by another big squirrel followed by a smaller squirrel.
I was about to tell them that I run a nice place and I won’t stand for any of that weird stuff in my tree, but upon inspection Romeo was chasing off a suitor — who didn’t seem to care all that much — and Juliet was looking on and pretending not to care at all.
