How to make a BBC segment
January 29th, 2010 ~ Just a bit of funOkay, this is going to seem like an abrupt departure, because I’ve been on a serious tack of late. But whenever Greg sends me anything that makes me laugh till I cry, I figure that I’m doing us hard-working Christians a favor by letting us lighten up.
So behold your easy-to-follow instructions for producing your own news segment for British television. (Could adapt easily for American television by changing the accents.)
Mature audience warning: We’ve got one f-bomb in there, and one crude-but-not-obscene word.

Golly moses, that’s funny. If I hadn’t been listening closely to what he said, I’d have assumed it was a real broadcast because he’s got the pattern down perfectly. Up until the lighthouse keeper gets decapitated by a laser, that is.
