Turned into Rush and he’s live-streaming a Veteran’s Day speech by Bush. I don’t know where he’s speaking (I’ll find out at the end, I’m sure) but it’s just a great speech. It seems that someone told Bush — or he told them — that it was time to stop just letting anti-war folks with 20/20 hindsight level charges without a response. Here’s as much as I could type on the fly:

“… our debate at home must also be fair-minded … when I made [the decision to go to war] Congress approved it with strong bipartisan support. … it is deeply irresponsible to rewrite the history of how that war began. … These baseless charges send the wrong signal to our troops and to an enemy that is questioning our will….”

Well, that’s all I could get, and I’ll have to fill in more later after transcriptions are up online. By the way, the speech was given to soldiers in Pennsylvania, and Bush got a standing ovation.
