Coffee cake Thursday
January 17th, 2008 ~ Just a slice of heaven
We got a couple inches of snow in a short period of time yesterday. It wasn’t much fun to drive in last night, but this morning it’s really pretty. And school is out and everything around town is very quiet.
The sun has come out and Clementine seems to want nothing more than to get in the good sunspots and sleep the day away.
Definitely a day for making coffee cake in the breadmaker.
I know, I know… blah-blah transfats blahdy-blah empty calories. Look, Lent starts in a couple months — you want all this stuff to go bad?

Yep, it came out pretty good. It was a little dense, but I had taken the precaution of adding extra cinnamon and stuff into the recipe so there was just more to love! (And the dog liked licking the crumbs off the floor.)
