Christian Carnival

September 6th, 2006 ~ La Vida Iglesia

The most recent Christian Carnival is up. For those of us new to all this fancy bloggy terminology, a “carnival” is an assemblage of blog entries that all share a common theme. You submit a blog entry with the links and a sentence or two about it and they fit in as many as they can. This week it’s hosted HERE, and it’s cleverly broken down into subcategories as if it were the morning paper. It’s worth trolling around in there — there’s some really interesting topics and points of view. (But then, I would say that. I made it into this one. :-) )

BTW, I believe the guidelines if you want to submit are at the bottom of this week’s carnival, but if not, drop me a comment or e-mail, and I’ll go get ‘em for you.

Congrats on the reprint! Do you get royalties? (I’d hold out for twice what you get for writing in the first place). (Love the pot of coffee comment, BTW.)

A very impressive piece of scholarship, especially considering the massive size of the issue. Keep us posted if you come across more about pomo and art in general.

Hey, yay me, right? But royalties … ha!

I really don’t know why the pomo stuff continues to fascinate me, but I can tell I’ve got a couple more big expository entries to go. I may see if there’s a way to have them show up in their own category. They’re a little off my usual topic(s), and I’m not quite sure I’m not just boring everyone.
