Thus beginneth an investigation into private journal entries. And I may have to continue to begin them that way, because I found from “privatizing” one before that if you do a search and bring up the entry, it gives you the first couple sentences of the entry. “Nnnno,” I’m thinking to myself. “That’s not the point. If it’s a private entry, it’s private all the way through.”

The silly part of it is that I doubt very much that my private entries will be all that interesting, and certainly not titillating or naughty. (Sorry. Just don’t have it in me. Got tired of apologizing for that a long time ago.) But what they will be is more personal in terms of naming names and such, and …. can you believe it? I type even that and it looks intriguing.

Feh. All I’m saying is that from time to time I have wanted to talk about what’s going on with specific people and circumstances, but I can’t reasonably blog about them because the people might read them and I wouldn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings or make them feel like their privacy had been violated.

I could just write it all into journals, of course. Much “safer” than the boundless internet where anyone can Google things.

Hmm. I’m just not sure about this. It seemed like what I really, really needed, and now that I’m doing it, I just don’t know if I see how it would be worth it.

I’ll have to think about it.
